dd-pitssetup
Read-only demo. A real dd-pits fed by a simulated meeting. Look around: nothing here can be changed. Get dd-pits to run it at your venue.

Who speaks the race calls

FPVTrackside speaks its own race calls — no voice is configured here, so dd-pits is leaving the audio alone. The dashboard, overlays and goggles all still work.

Commentary is a separate choice.

This setting is only about the lap times and results. The commentary booth is switched on independently, so the common arrangement — FPVTrackside calling the laps, dd-pits providing the commentary — is simply FPVTrackside above plus a voice on the Commentary page. That way the timing calls stay exactly as your pilots are used to and the colour is added around them.

Right now: commentary is off — switch it on if you want colour around the calls.

Where FPVTrackside is

dd-pits reads its wording and its log from the FPVTrackside folder — check or change it.

No voice is configured

dd-pits cannot speak without one, so FPVTrackside is doing it. To change that, either set up the local model (Apple Silicon) or add a Qwen key — both are on the commentary page.
